The Urdonautalsteig Trail leads from Dollnstein in the southern Altmühltal Nature Park through the unique Wellheim Dry Valley to the Danube. Five day hikes explore a distinctive landscape with gentle valley slopes, rugged rock formations, pristine floodplain forests, and the Danube itself. Tranquil, unspoiled, and historic towns and numerous castle ruins also line the hiker's path.
