From Munderkingen, the route follows the Danube through the Danube floodplains to Ehingen-Berg. From there, the tour continues to Oberstadion. The picturesque church and the Nativity Museum invite you to take a break. The route then ascends the Bussen mountain. This striking, prominent peak above Offingen is a well-known landmark on the Swabian Alb. The church on the Bussen invites you to linger and enjoy the potential panoramic view of the Alps (weather permitting). The well-preserved former castle can also be visited nearby. After your break, the route descends to Unlingen, where another fantastic view of the Bussen and its church awaits. In Obermarchtal, the baroque monastery complex with its two towers awaits you. The route then follows the Danube to Rechtenstein and over the hill to Lauterach. Here, a detour to the Biosphere Information Center is recommended. The Danube Cycle Path then leads back to Munderkingen.
