The starting point of this tour is the Tilly monument in front of the town hall in Rain From there, the path leads along the main road to the 15th-century castle. Behind the castle lies the castle garden, which blooms in many bright colors during the warmer months and was part of the "Nature in Rain" garden show in 2009. Via Feldheim, you reach Niederschönenfeld and the monastery of the same name. The route continues along the Lech dam and over the Feldheim Reservoir bird sanctuary (note: this is a nature reserve!), past the dam and along the Lech to the south. In Thierhaupten, there is an old mill museum and the monastery to visit. The return route to Rain leads through picturesque villages just a few kilometers off the Lech cycle path. Via Gut Hemerten, Münster, Ober- and Unterpeiching, you return to Rain. At the Dehner Flower Park The path leads past the Schwabtor and thus you reach the end of the tour, the Rococo town hall and the inviting restaurants on the main street in Rain.
