Northwest of Pförring rises the Biburg Plateau, visible from afar. A former Roman fortification once stood on it. Today, an elaborate replica of the northeast gate, among other things, commemorates the Celeusum cavalry fort. Directly off the B299 parking lot, you'll find an information panel providing background information and images about the fort. Embark on the circular nature trail and, via several stations, reach the northeast gate, visualized using modern materials, with a visitor platform, from where you'll enjoy a magnificent view of the landscape.
