The Danube can be explored on foot, both #aloneoutdoors and #familyfriendly with the family. I've discovered many #favorite spots on the Ice Age Trails in the Alb-Donau district, for example, on the Danube-Hochberg Tour. I start in Rechtenstein, then head to the Hochwartfelsen rocks and the Braunsel spring, then into the Große Lautertal valley and back over the Hochberg.
