The German Danube Working Group (ARGE Deutsche Donau) is responsible for the tourism marketing of the German Danube – 609 kilometers of river from Donaueschingen to Passau. Members are the tourism organizations of the cities and districts along the Bavarian and Baden-Württemberg sections of the river. Ulm/Neu-Ulm Touristik GmbH (UNT) is a subsidiary and the official tourism marketing organization of the two Danube cities of Ulm and Neu-Ulm.
Job Description:
To support our team, we are looking for support for a mandatory internship starting in September 2018.
Your tasks:
- Help shape the websites
- Expansion of the ARGE’s cross-media strategy with Facebook and Instagram presence.
- Creating small videos
- Collaboration with bloggers
- Project work in marketing and PR
- Insight into and participation in the activities of the office (destination marketing, advertising and public relations)
- Preparation and trade fair support
- Supporting the office in day-to-day business
- Collaboration in the tourist information office (advice, souvenir sales, city tours)
- Insight and project-related collaboration in the areas of marketing (brochure production), accommodation booking, event calendar, business plan, statistics, secretarial work and shipping
Your profile:
- Affinity to online marketing (experience in maintaining websites and social media channels)
- Experience in creating presentations and document templates as well as image editing
- Communication skills and textual confidence
- High level of commitment and initiative
- Very good German and English knowledge in spoken and written
- Customer orientation and willingness to provide service
- Enrolled at a university specializing in tourism communication/media/design, preferably in the field of information management and corporate communication (IMUK)
Conditions:
Internship duration: 5-6 months from September 2018 to February 2019
Remuneration: 425 €/month
Working hours: 39 hours/week
